Q.Fuchsia Indoors

Anonymous added on January 15, 2014 | Answered

I brought my miniature fuschia plant indoors this fall. It is in a sunny south window. It gets covered with buds but they fall off without opening, and more buds come. What can I do to get flowers, or to keep the buds from falling off?

Low humidity or too dry an environment is the most common reason for bud drop on fuchsias indoors. I would suggest increasing the humidity level of your home. This article will help with some suggestions: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/hpgen/raise-humidity-for-houseplants.htm
