Fungus removal

I have a type of fungus in my grass which is spreading quite rapidly, and is very unsightly. I have been unable to identify it and do not know how to treat it to get rid of it, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not to worry. I have a method for controlling fungal infections. Spreading ,both, Dolomitic lime, and wettable sulfur will take care of the issue.
