Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have recently planted several artichoke plants and have noticed that the ground around the plants is moldy looking. What’s going on, and how do I protect my plants from damage? I planted them where it is sunny and they seem happy, but the fungus looks harmful.

It might be harmless, but if you are worried about it, you can just treat the area with an organic fungicide like neem oil. That will help clear it up.
