Q.Fruit and vegetable gardening

I have read that you can’t grow vegetables near or under fruit trees. Is this true? I have very little space that contains 3 apricot trees.

While this is usually true in that the tree roots will take up all the water and nutrients, leaving little for the vegetables. You can, however, grow them in this area using raised beds instead.
