Frost on Asparagus

We have 10 acres of asparagus and about 80% of it froze last night. I was told that it should be mowed down. There is a lot of it just coming up. Could you help me?

Yes, you can cut, or mow over, the plants to remove the cold damaged foliage. Your asparagus has a hardy root system, so if you got some cold kill, other shoots will soon sprout.
