Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comJust planted a weeping cherry a few weeks ago. It has beautiful blooms but we have frost this weekend with temperatures dipping in the 20’s here in North Carolina. Is there anyway to protect the tree? Covering the base or tree itself? Many Thanks

Yes, you can cover the tree during these periods of cold.
Remove the coverings as soon as the temperatures warm again.
