Q.Front lawn

Anonymous added on September 15, 2015 | Answered

My neighbor has put scaffolding on my front lawn while he has some solar panals fitted and says that it will take about a week, and he has boarded the grass to minimize damage. However, the scaffolding has already been up two days and the builders haven’t appeared yet. I am worried that the grass underneath will not reccover if the boards are down for too long. How long do you think we can get away with without permanent damage to the lawn occuring? The lawn is in very good condition at the moment. Thank you.

The grass will suffer from lack of sunlight if covered to long.

Perhaps you can work out with your neighbor to repair any damage to the lawn if it does not recover.
