Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comOne of my 3 co-located foxtails had its top break off overnight with some high winds from Alberto. The pictures show the newest fronds were beginning to turn brown beforehand. The other photo shows the remaining trunk. Any chance the palm will recover? What are some issues associated with trying to remove it from its sisters?

That one will die… It may send up a replacement from the base, but that trunk will die. It will be easiest to wait until it is fully dead to remove. This will keep it from harming the remaining palms.
