Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have (2) Foster holly bushes, about 4-5′ tall planted this past fall. On the back on numerous leaves, there are small black bugs with red rings around the bodies, which are eating the leaves. Is there a particular type of insecticide spray we should use?

There are several insects that could be feasting on your shrub. However, regardless of which one it is, I would recommend neem oil. This natural insecticide/fungicide is effective on a wide variety pests. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/pesticides/neem-oil-uses.htm [1]
