harvesting esperanza seed

For Esperanzas, when I pull the pods off, do I let them dry out and then remove the seeds from inside to plant for next spring? I want to plant them in a new area in my yard, so do I let the pods dry out first before removing the seeds for planting next spring?

Yes, most people allow the pods to dry out some prior to collecting seeds. These articles should help too: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/fgen/harvesting-garden-seeds.htm [1]
