Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am a relatively new tenant on a property with two peach trees. Last year the peaches were a good size and the year before last they were big, but this year they were more like apricots. I think the trees need to be pruned, as there are some “dead” areas (no leaves but I can see sap on the wood) and they probably need “food.” I’ve seen “food” for fruit trees in a local store. Is that the same as fertilizer? If not, which is better – the “food” or fertilizer? And although some of the “dead” branches have sap, are they “alive”? And should they be pruned? Thank so much for any help you provide.
