As long as the overall plants look ok and appear healthy, I would not worry too much about the dying leaves. It may just be in need of some additional watering. Tomatoes require lots of water. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/watering-tomato-plants.htm [1]

If you are seeing wilt and generaly poor health, it may have wilt. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/tomato/wilting-tomato-plants.htm [2]

Uneven watering can lead to splitting of tomatoes, also known as cracking. Generally, this happens when you get a sudden burst of water. The best thing you can do is to water your plants deeply rather than frequently. This will encourage deeper roots and allow the plant to take up a more even amount of water, even during unfavorable weather.
