Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’ve had this ficus for 19 years. A friend gave it to me when she moved. I have no idea how long she had it. I move it outside after Easter every year and this year I decided to repot it. A few weeks ago it shot out roots from the branches. It has never done this before. What does this mean? I’m hoping it’s not a sign of it dying and trying to reroot from the branches. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
Thank you for sending us your gardening question. It appears that your ficus has sprouted aerial roots. This is not a sign of stress or disease. Your plant should be just fine.
