Q.Flowering Vines That Grow In The High Desert

Zone Terlingua, Texas 79852 | buzzardsroostterlingua added on September 8, 2020 | Answered

I live in the chihuanhuan desert of West Texas – zone 8a. I have sink runoff that runs along a fence line so I would like to find a flowering vine, preferably evergreen, that can grow in full sun (very hot in the summer), frequent watering, in a clay/sandy soil. Thank you!

It will be a lot easier to find things that will tolerate the area if it can dry out a little between waterings, but many vines will tolerate quite a bit of moisture with proper care.
