Flowering Vinca

My flowering vinca annuals are not doing well. They are planted in full sun but the leaves are turning yellow. I water every other day. There are small (chipmunk size) holes in the soil next to many of the plants. Help!

You may have a mole or vole problem. They sometimes like to eat the roots of plants. These articles may help:
