You can go ahead and plant them now. They will not bloom this year but they will be fine in the ground.
If this is not an option, simply treat them as a houseplant until the foliage dies back, then place them pots and all in a dry place and let them dry out. In the fall, take them out of the dry potting soil and plant them in the ground.
