Q.Flowering Anthurium
Hi, I have about a dozen potted Anthuriums sitting on my balcony. Almost all flower throughout the year. But I have trouble with just one. It grows quite well and has produced many flowers over the last 2 years…..but the actual flowers never open up (see photo). Could you please advise a course of action I might try. It could, simply, be a slight genetic variation between plants. This can be especially true if the plants come from different mother clumps. Otherwise, you might check the pH and nutrient contents of the problem plant. There could be a slight difference in the conditions of its soil. One other thing to consider would be a slight lighting difference, though I don't know if that would be a likelihood, here.
