Q.Flowering Almond Pruning

My husband cut my flowering almond down to about 10 inches, and he cut it in October. Will it grow back?

It should grow back, but you probably won't have any flowers next spring. Almond trees flower on old wood, which means they form buds the previous summer. They should be pruned immediately after flowering. Here is more:
