Florence Fennel

I am interested in growing Florence fennel in North Carolina. I don’t think it will survive the summer. When do you think I should attempt to sow it?

I would start them as soon as the soil warms in spring. You may also be able to grow it in the fall in your area as well. Here is more info: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/fennel-vegetables/growing-florence-fennel.htm [1]
