Q.Flax Plant Leaves Are Bent On Stalk From Snow Cover. Should I Remove Them?

The plant has been in place fore 7 years. We had a heavy snow and cold here in the NW for 2 weeks this year. Very hard on the flax. Leaves are bent and most lying on the ground. What can I do?

I will assume that you are referring to New Zealand Flax, as the standard "flax" is very small and would just be completely flattened with snow, rather than having leaves on the ground.

If the leaves are damaged, then cutting them will not harm them. Here is an article that will help:
