If you have a bucket or tub larger than the pot that is infested, set the ant ridden container inside the tub. Pour a solution of 1 to 2 tablespoons of concentrated insecticidal soap per quart of water inside the tub till it just covers the inside pot. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
