Finishing my Hosta bed

Question

I have a triangular hosta bed, which has 35 hosta in it. Large hosta on the wide end and smalls on the short, No hosta is the same. No plan for bed except to have hostas I like in it. On a 45 degree slope and woods butt up to 14′ side. I know it will fill out in a few years but want color in it now. Woods do surround area so no more than 4 hrs of indirect sun. Im in a rural area property is mostly woods and formal is far from my liking. I like Asitibe and Heucherlla. Thought of Bleeding Heart, though I’ve never had much luck with it. Husband would like some grass and outdide of the Hakone on the small side I dont know if I can do grass. (oh I live near Syracuse NY). Like I said I have no plans, my others beds tend to be drop and plant but with this being out in front of the house… 1) Can drop and plant still go 2) Do or should I follow a color scheme with what I have left and if so, how much or the color scheme should I follow?

Color schemes in gardens tend to be the home owners preferences or the colors that compliment the homes exterior.
You can plant in hot colors, cool colors, monochromatic and mixed colors.
Visit local garden centers and pull plants that appeal to you.
Drive around neighborhoods to see what other homeowners are doing and what appeals to you.
