Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a fig tree at our cattle yard. We have been on our property for only 2 years. Last year the fig tree looked great, but when I opened them all, they were only full of pith. This year the same thing is happening. I do not know anything about the fig tree, so I don’t know what to do. Is the tree an artificial one?

Dried fruit on the tree is normally cause by disease, which is introduced by the Dried Fruit Beetle. They crawl up into the fruit and bring disease. This article will help: http://extension.entm.purdue.edu/publications/E-229.pdf [1]
