I assume you want to know if fig trees need sun? Ifthis is the questioh like any other fruit tree yes they need plenty of sun . My father has a fig tree,not sure of the name, its 12ft T and 15ft W in about 10hrs of sun a day.My mom mixes them with cherries and cans preserves ,We're in 9b Luck
