Q.fig trees
I have a tree stump that has only three shoots about 4 feet high. They have no limbs or leaves until about three feet off the ground and they have stopped growing. I have found one small fig on one of the shoots. My neighbor says that they are only shoots and will produce no figs. He says dig them up and plant a new tree. What do you say?

I say that if you concentrate on one of the branches, then in several years, it can bear fruit. If you do not wish to wait this long, then purchasing a new tree will be the best option.
