Fig Trees

I live in Zone 6 in the Coachella Valley. When is a good time to prune a fig tree? It is about 2 years old.

With such a young tree, as far as pruning goes right now, all you need to worry about is removing weak growth or branches that are crossing. Let the tree build up some mature growth so that it can better face hard winters. This article will help with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/pruning-fig-trees.htm [1]
