Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted a fig tree about 12 years ago in Tuscaloosa AL, where there are many large fig trees growing. It is still small (about 5 feet tall), in part due to some landscaping that damaged the roots about 8 years ago and a long hard freeze about 4 years ago. Last year and now starting in mid July when the figs are ripe, the edge of the leaves start to turn yellow. Last year this continued until the leaves were yellow and dropped off. This year is the smallest crop I have had with the fewest number of leaves. We got a sprinkler system 2 years ago. I have not fertilized the tree in several years. My soil is acidic. Do you know what is the problem and what I can do to fix it?
