Fig Tree Plants in Pots

Do fig tree plants in pots need to go inside or just wrapped in fleece? These plants are only a year old and can be moved. Also, do the leaves drop off in the winter?

Yes, the leaves do drop off in the winter.

Whether wrapping will be enough or not depends on where you live. If you live in Zones 5 or less, it will need to come indoors. Even a garage or basement will work. If you are in Zone 6, wrapping should be enough, though we would recommend placing it in a sheltered location. Higher than than and it should survive without extra care.
