Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a fig that started from a small stem that I rooted in water. It is now a 10-foot tall single stem. The leaves are drying up at the ends.
I don’t know exactly what kind of fig that it is, but I have seen it in office buildings and restaurants. How do I get it to branch and take care of it so the leaves don’t dry up? They are great at the top. Can you give me some info?

Generally, you would simply nip off the top inch of the plant and this will force it to branch. However, if your is already 10 feet tall, I would cut about a third of the tree, which should also work. In the future, this article will help with pruning and caring for your fig: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/pruning-fig-trees.htm [1]
