Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have three trees. They were in containers for two years but did not grow much in spite of feeding and watering. I know they are shocked now, as I planted in sandy soil in the part sun. Not much luck here, but the nursery ones are great and fruiting. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jim

It sounds like they may have a fungus, which would cause the leaves to drop and the slow growth. Treat them with a fungicide and that should help.
Also, make sure they are getting enough water. Increase watering for a few weeks to help encourage some root growth.
