Fig Tree Issues

I have a potted fig tree in my apartment that has bloomed beautifully and can even see some figs starting to develop. Recently, I have noticed that some of the leaves (roughly a quarter of all the leaves on the tree) have started to wither. It looks almost as is there is something eating them, or they are being attacked by some disease (please see attached images). Should I trim all of these leaves off to protect the rest of the tree from this same issue?

It certainly does look like something is munching on your Fig tree.
I would inspect the plant carefully, and use an insecticidal soap or Neem Oil.
Your plant appears healthy but appears something snuck in to have a meal.
