Overwintering Fig Tree?

I have a fig tree in a pot that I have just brought in from the outside. What do I do now?

Allow it to go dormant. Stop watering the tree and place it in a cool (but not cold), dry, mostly dark place. Closets, attached garages and dry basements work well. The tree will lose its leaves. Water it about once a month until spring returns. Take it outside and resume normal watering and it will pop back to life.
