Fig Tree Fruiting

My fig tree of 8 yrs has never bore fruit. Why is that and what can I do to remedy it? It is rather small but has many healthy leaves. Help!

It sounds like it may have too much nitrogen. I would add some bone meal to the soil to add phosphorous to balance it out. This article will have some other reasons why it might not be fruiting: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/fig-tree-is-producing-fruit.htm ^[1]
