Fig Tree – Edges of Leaves Getting Blackened

I have a fig tree about 3 years old, which has started yielding fruits. The tree had lots of leaves, but, of late, the edges of the leaves are getting blackened. The number of leaves had considerably decreased in the last 2 -3 months. I would like to know how to deal with the situation.
