Q.Fig Tree Did Not Bear Fruit

Anonymous added on October 5, 2011 | Answered

We planted a fig tree which already had fruit on it, and it produced well the first season. Then it went dormant till this past spring. It began putting on leaves but never bore fruit. We live in California, so we don’t get much change in seasons. What can we do to get it to produce fruit again?

There are actually various reasons, as to why the tree may not be producing, and pinpointing the cause is the only way to fix the issue. This article should help you with that: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/figs/fig-tree-is-producing-fruit.htm
