Fig Tree Care

Hi there, I live in a condo In Toronto Ontario & I face north I have a large patio where I get sunlight every morning until around 1oclock would a fig tree do fine with only that amount of hrs of sun? Thanks so much!

I'm not clear on whether you face north and the patio is in the back, south. or the patio is north. A northern exposure would not be ideal. A southern exposure for that amount of time still would not be considered full sun.

Any kind of fruit tree pretty much needs full sun. Perhaps you could grow something like a Japanese maple in a container.
