My fig tree has white spots on the bark of tree. What is it and how do I treat this?

Those white spots sound like a fungal growth. Treat the tree with a fungicide. They could also be from a pest, like mealybug or scale. Neem oil will help. It is safe but effective on these bugs. In addition, neem oil is a good fungicide, so it should take care of both issues. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
