Will you be keeping them in pots or planting them in the ground? This can make a world of difference in their care as far as their watering goes. Young fig tees should be watered regularly until fully established. Container grown figs should be watered deeply every two weeks, more so in severely dry conditions. Also, in your area where it may get fairly hot, you might want to consider placing the trees where they can recieve some afternoon shade.
