Fig Tree

Fig Propagation

mchristoffersen added on March 18, 2015 | Answered

I am growing several small fig trees from cuttings. Some of the cuttings appear to be growing fruit as well as leaves. Should I remove the fruit to ensure all possible resources are devoted to leaf and stem production?

I agree with you - you should pinch them off. You want the plant to grow and develop first, not spend its energy supporting fruit.
