Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe trees have lot of fruit, but they are not yet ripe. A crab apple tree close to the figs have scale on it, but it was treated for scale in June. What can I do to ensure the fruit is not affected by the white on the leaves?

Photos would help; my best guess on white spots and lines could be powdery mildew and/or leafminers. Light colored spots could also be a sign of scale, especially since a nearby tree had them. Examine your fig leaves carefully for scale or mealybugs.

Unfortunately, your photos did not come through. I am unable to see what is causing the problem. It could be a scale issue (I would treat more than once, since scale seal themselves to the tree, it will not be effective to treat once without removing most of them first.) but a photo would confirm.
It could, also, be powdery mildew, or any number of diseases that can appear as white spots.
