Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just got a new, small fig tree, about 2 feet tall with just a few leaves. The leaves are partly gone. Even new leaves have parts that seem “eaten away.” There are no colored blotches of any kind. Leaves seem “dried up” along the edges. I saw nothing on the leaves with a magnifying glass. What causes this and what can be done to keep the plant healthy? Thanks.

If it is a pest, which could be many, insecticidal soap should work. I like neem oil as well. Here is more information on neem oil: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm [1]
