Ficus [Weeping Fg]

Question

Have 2 Ficus that froze this winter.
All outer branches are brown and leafless
There is growth emerging from the main trunk.

What to do? Can it be saved?
These ficus are thirty years old and we HATE to lose them.

Is this an outdoor planting or indoor plant?

You can prune away the dead material and allow the new growth to continue.
