Q.Ficus Tree has drooping leaves

Anonymous added on July 21, 2015 | Answered

I repotted a ficus tree a little over a month ago. The tree is around 9-10 years old. Since I repotted, the leaves are extremely droopy and it is losing its leaves. I have not moved the location or changed my watering routine. I am wondering if it might be in shock from me repotting it. What do I need to do to help save the tree?

Figs need to have restricted roots- they do well in pots.Did you do this? Replanting a nine year old tree is certainly rather risky.
