Ficus alii growth rate

I’m much more familiar with the benjamina and they grow quite fast. Even cuttings that I root, once some small roots have formed and I transfer to soil, a bud will open with new growth within a week. Now, for the alii, I’ve rooted a couple in water and transferred to soil a couple weeks back. They’re in a southern window with a 100w 6500k cfl a few inches away. The bud has been in a slightly open position and hasn’t changed. Do these types of ficus just grow a lot slower? Thanks!

A cutting from a Rubber Tree plant should form roots in 2 to 3 weeks.
Here is a link with information on propagating cuttings.
