Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have an indoor ficus. I just read that I should not move it. Does that refer to relocation or any movement around the house? It is in high drainage potting soil and I like to water it in the sink under a very light shower spray. Might moving it to the sink for a few minutes and back to its same spot cause stress or shock? Thanks!

No, this refers to transplanting. That quick of a move will not harm them. Now moving them to a location for several hours that is drastically different from the one they started will have negative effects, but not just taking it to water it. You are fine to continue this.
