kill wild garlic

I have wild garlic growing down the sides of my drive. If I tarmac all, will this kill the garlic or will it grow through the tarmac?

Wild garlic can be very difficult to get rid of. I’m not sure what material you are referring to when describing ‘tarmac’.

If you are pouring concrete, that would most certainly cover and kill the wild garlic.
