Blueberries thrive in acidic soil, so use a high-acid fertilizer with ammonium sulfate or sulfur-coated urea to maintain a low pH. Opt for nitrogen-rich formulas but avoid nitrates, which can be harmful. Watch for nutrient deficiencies—reddish-yellow leaves may signal magnesium deficiency, while yellow leaves with green veins suggest an iron deficiency.
