Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe have star jasmine that has grown over and around the fence. It is pulling down the fence. I had the fence builder cut the vine back, in March, in order to remove the fence. The jasmine was cut back to three to four foot stalks. The jasmine has not sprouted in three weeks. Is it dead? What will help it sprout?

I wouldn’t panic yet. Jasmine are very slow growing and it is confused! Wait it out and give your vine time.
Pruning is generally done in winter, so March was a bit late for the cut back, but it’s not during very active growth.
If the soil is dry, give it water, slowly and down to 6 inches.
Do not fertilize until you see active growth.
