female sago flower

I have 2 female sagos about 3 1/2 foot from one another. There is no male plant around that I know of. Last year they both developed their flowers with seeds. This year the flowers and seeds are drooping now and are not very attractive. Should I cut them off or will they finally die and drop off themselves? I am not interested in propagating.

The answer to your question is either. You can cut them off or leave them be. Since you don’t want the plant to reproduce, cutting them off is probably what you will want to do.
