Fastigate beech

A fastigate beech was downed by a storm mid winter. It was righted one week later and secured. Now even though branches are subtle and buds appear the tree is not leafing out. (Its companion has been leafing out for a week) Anything I can do to help?

This will be a recovery process now. It could be another year or two before it starts to resume vigorous growth. During this time, it will repair damaged root systems so that it can support itself again.
